One of the unique things about the Good Code Hackathon is that you have the opportunity to use (fake) versions of real FSC data to build apps that FSC will use in the real world. This means you’ll need to build your app to use real data schemas, and make use of data and documents provided by FSC. The links below have everything you need.

There are a lot of documents and info, but don’t panic! You’re free to skip around and use only the information and instructions you need for the app you plan to build.

Good Code Tech Resources:

  1. FSC Challenge Details: This document provides detailed information on each of the three apps, including background info and the functionality required for each app.
  2. Dynamics Setup and FSC Schema Technical Guide: You will need a free 30-day Microsoft Dynamics instance for any FSC-related challenges. This guide walks you through Dynamics setup, details how to access FSC data schemas, as well as how to work with the data and all sample documents for each of the three apps. Consider this your main guide and skip to the section you need. Pro Tip: Don’t get your free Dynamics trial until you’re truly ready to code since it lasts 30 days.
  3. App 1 Pre-Assessment: This folder contains all schemas, sample docs, and instructions you’ll need to build this app. Feel free to use these sample docs in your app.
  4. App 2 Qualification: This folder contains all schemas, sample docs, and instructions you’ll need to build this app. Feel free to use these sample docs in your app.
  5. App 3 Remote Audit: This folder contains all schemas, sample docs, and instructions you’ll need to build this app. Feel free to use these sample docs in your app.
